Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Operative within our Energy Services Division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse operations. Working closely with our Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for various tasks related to handling and managing energy-efficient products and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing energy-efficient products accurately and efficiently, ensuring orders are prepared for shipment in accordance with customer requirements.
- Providing holiday and sickness cover for the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, including collating documentation for booking hauliers and coordinating site deliveries for energy projects.
- Monitoring and controlling stock levels of energy-efficient products, conducting regular stock checks, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Loading and unloading deliveries of energy products, both manually and using forklift trucks (FLT), while adhering to health and safety guidelines and relevant regulations.
- Performing general warehouse duties, such as maintaining cleanliness and organisation, and assisting with stock replenishment for energy-related projects.
- Working to and maintaining the company's high health and safety standards, including the safe handling and storage of energy products and materials.
- Hours - 7:30 - 17.00 (6:30 - 17:00 when covering for holidays)
Requirements:
- Current FLT certification is essential for this role, with specific experience in handling energy products preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, ideally within the energy sector, is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing energy-efficient products.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required to meet the operational needs of energy projects.
- Commitment to upholding health and safety standards and protocols, particularly in handling energy products.
